Library of the ChairCopyright: Verena Hake
The library of the chair consists of approximately 40,000 volumes over 200 square meters. Our holdings focus on the Italian and French Renaissance, history of garden architecture, monument preservation, urban development history, historical building research, and architectural history of the Rheinland and Mass regions. The library is located in the former Reiff Museum with an adjacent gallery space. There are around 35 reading desks and 3 computers available. Students studying architecure and art and building history can borrow up to 10 books for a maximum of two weeks. Our book database is currently under construction and currently contains about three quarters of our holdings.
