Chiara Erhardt and Luca Steinert, who completed their master's thesis "ritrova.riesi Impulses and Action Strategies for the City of Riesi" in the winter term of 2020/2021 at the Chair of Architectural History, were honored with the grant award of the Stiftung Deutscher Architekten. The grant award is presented every two years and is given to exceptionally talented up-and-coming architects.

"A wonderful contribution, in which the awakening impulse is fed by what is; by what can become and becomes visible with well-proportioned building structures in familiar materiality and façade structure, without overforming the existing. The work of Chiara Erhardt and David Steinert shows on the one hand a special power of observation and a great talent in methodical work, on the other hand a soulful empathy for social processes and their reflection in urban space and architecture." reports the Stiftung Deutscher Architekten.

The Chair of Architectural History congratulates Chiara Erhardt and Luca Steinert especially in view of the fact that this is now the second award for ritova.riesi after the 1st place in the Euregional Prize for Architecture (EAP) in 2021!
