Job offer student assistant (m/f/d) with focus on photographic work
The Chair of Architectural History is looking for a student assistant for photography and other activities at the chair.
You are studying architecture and are interested in architectural history. You have a keen sense for the photographic reproduction of buildings and are experienced in handling the relevant camera equipment as well as in post-processing the resulting images. In addition, you are characterised by your ability to work in a team, a great sense of responsibility and quality awareness as well as a high degree of independence, organisational skills and flexibility.
A varied range of activities awaits you at the Chair of Architectural History. In addition to carrying out photo campaigns of the buildings examined in research and teaching research projects, your tasks will also include post-processing and, if necessary, archiving the photographs in the chair's own image database and evaluating them within the framework of photo-based surveying procedures. Furthermore, you will be involved in the creation of images for lectures and presentations, in the photographic documentation of design projects and events, and in general chair tasks.
Information and Application
The position is expected to be filled on January 1st, 2021 and is initially limited until the end of the semester. After that, the position will be extended on a semesterly basis if the professional and personal requirements are met. The regular working week is six hours.
If you have further questions regarding the advertised position, please contact Tobias Glitsch.
Please send your application (including letter of motivation, CV and a portfolio of relevant photographic work) as a PDF file to our secretary, Ingrid Getz by November 20, 2020.
