Anthony Hans Widjaja, who completed his master's thesis "Wood and Flood: Carpenter's Shop in Bukit Duri" in the summer term of 2019 at the Chair of Architectural History, was honored with the grant award of the Stiftung Deutscher Architekten. The grant award is presented every two years and is given to exceptionally talented up-and-coming architects.

"The jury's evaluation included the degree of difficulty of the task, the intensity and comprehensiveness of the topic, the innovativeness of the solution, the precision of the construction technology and the quality of the presentation of the design process. These criteria should indicate the special talent of the applicant," reports the Stiftung Deutscher Architekten.
