Wanted: Student Assistant (m/f/d) with Focus on Library Work

The Chair of Architectural History is looking for a student assistant for library work and general tasks at the Chair for an estimated workload of 6 hours per week.

Your profile
You are an architecture student in your bachelor's or beginning master's program and plan to graduate from RWTH. You are interested in libraries and architectural history. You have a quick grasp and the ability to work in a structured and independent manner. You have very good knowledge of the German and English language, both written and spoken. You can imagine a long-term cooperation.

Your tasks
In addition to supervising and checking out the library's entrance area, your tasks will include loaning and returning, as well as placing and retrieving media. In addition, you will be responsible for providing simple information and for creating and affixing signature labels. Furthermore, you will support us with general activities in the work of the department and in teaching and research.

Information and Application
The position is vacant from January 1st, 2022 and is initially limited until the end of the winter term. Thereafter, the position will be extended on a semester-by-semester basis if the professional and personal requirements are met. The regular weekly work load is 6 hours.
