This semester, students can attend two impromptu design studios. One of them, ’Sektgarten’, explores the possibilities architecture has to offer to provide bars, clubs and cultural venues with an environment that meets the requirements of the ongoing Covid-19 pandemic. The other design studio, ‘RE:fuelUSE’, asks students to reuse soon-to-be abandoned petrol stations. Exploring the possibilities of their prominent roof structures is mandatory to this design studio, perhaps resulting in explorations of multi-levelled public spaces.
