FR | Digital Building Archaeology | Scherpenheuvel
In the summer semester there is the possibility to participate in the ongoing research project "Scherpenheuvel - Church and City in a Heptagon".
The focus of this field of research is, in cooperation with the project team, the elaboration of the tachymetric building survey as well as its condensation with the help of the SfM method (Structure from Motion). The individual processing steps up to the print-ready plan layout require a solid knowledge of AutoCAD as well as basic experience in the use of Adobe programs. In addition, there is an opportunity to participate in an in-situ construction survey if the pandemic situation permits.
Students who have already gained experience in tachymetric construction surveying during their studies are particularly invited to attend.
