S | Böhm Buildings

Collage of three different views of buildings by architect Gottfried Böhm © creative commons (Wetzig, Wiegels, Beckstet)

The important, internationally recognized architect and Prizkerpreis winner Gottfried Böhm (1920–2021) has left behind an extensive life's work of more than one hundred realized buildings in the course of his many decades of activity.

The website Böhmbauten, initiated by the BDA Cologne, aims to make this work accessible in a summarized form for the first time and to enable the creation of individual tour routes for discovering the work.

Within the framework of the focus seminar, we would like to contribute to this very supportable project by writing short informative texts on Boehm buildings that have not yet been listed on the website, researching literature and selecting illustrations.
