FR | Five-Sided and Room-Filling
Preparation of an Exhibition on Radial Geometry in Architecture and Science
The research module deals with space-filling geometries, with the five- and ten-sided icosahedron and other geometries of plane and space, which have been researched since about 1987 and have led to amazing geometric references.
The new findings have since found their way into the natural sciences of physics and chemistry, but have not been recorded architecturally. The focus is on the digital and spatial representation of these new geometric structures that fill the space.
The aim of the research work is to develop a concept for an exhibition that allows models, plans and three-dimensional animations to be used in a thematically and didactically meaningful way.
